Ste-Sophie is located near Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, St-Jérôme and Montreal, in Quebec, Canada. Before to remain to Ste-Sophie, the parents of Joseph Neveu remained to Ste-Anne-des-Plaines in Quebec.
I was very surprised to see the register of baptism of Joseph Neveu writen in english.There were several nationality established in Ste-Sophie in the creation of this parish in the years 1850-1860. As the priest ” Jean-Baptiste Couillard” wrote the rtegister in english. This priest will remain in Ste-Sophie only two years, 1859 and 1860.

According to the register of her baptism, the 6 july 1786 in St-Pierre-aux-Liens, Caraquet, Gloucester, New Brunswick, Canada, Constance Ollier was born in 1785.Constance Ollier is of acadian origin since her mother, Marie-Modeste Girouard was born in Beaubassin, Acadie. Beaubassin was located exactly on the current border of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia ( in Canada).Constance is the daughter of Paul Benet say Ollier and Marie Modeste Girouard. I don’t know the exact date of her birth. In the register of her baptism, it is written that Contance is one year-old at her baptism. At what place is born Constance???..difficult to know…at her birth, her father (Pault Benet say Ollier) was fishman and seemed to be constantly on the move. The brothers and sisters of Constance were born in different place…Montreal, Beaumont, La Pocatiere, Sault-au-Recollet, Caraquet( all in Quebec and New Brunswick, in canada).
Constance is baptized with de name of Constance Benet, but seems to use the name of Constace Ollier throughout her life. Her father, Paul Ollier became tinsmith and beadle in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines. He died in 1818 and buried in the church of Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, Quebec, canada.

In register,the first names and surnames are often so poorly written that we do not know how to search information concerning some people.
This is the case of Zephirin (Zephir) Morel and his wife Edwidge Neveu.

To canadian census of 1871 and 1881, Zephirin Morel and his wife Edwidge remain in Montreal, Quebec. Then, Zephirin and Edwidge moved to Bay City, Michigan, United States. I guess that Edwidge wanted to join all her brothers and sisters.

iN 1889, in West Bay City Directory, we can see that Zephire is laborer and remain in West Bay City, Michigan,with the name od Zephere Marall.

Then, to census of Michigan of 1894, we can see that Zephire Morel and his wife remain yet in Bay City. With the name of Zlaphite and Edwidge Maralle.( find in Family Search). And their niece Maggy Gerard(Girard)remains with them.

Then I find Zephire Morel only in 1910. registred in Directory of Bay City, Michigan, with the name of Zephire Marel. He remain to 211 S Dewitt, Bay City, Michigan.

But where are spent Zephire and his wife Edwidge Neveu between 1894 and 1910 ?
During all these years, I can not find them in any census or directory. Neither the United States, nor Canada.
They have moved to another state of United States or in a province of Canada ???.
I know that Edwidge is died during these years.
She has been hospitalized for a long time?
I know that Edwidge is died between 1894 and 1910 because to Canadian census of 1911, Zephirin Morel remain in Montreal, Quebec. He remain at his sister, Leocadie Morel and her husband Octave Gilbert.

Maxime is twin with Theophile. Maxime and Theophile Neveu were born the 26 july 1816 in St-Cuthbert, Quebec, Canada.They are the son of Joseph neveu and Marie-Anne Baret (Barettte).
In 1862, Maxime and family moved to Michigan (United States), and they spent parts of their lives in Bay City.

Thomas Neveu was baptized with the first name of Damase Neveu. Birth: 21 january 1849 to Ste-Anne-des-Plaines , in Quebec, Canada. He is the son of Maxime Neveu and Scholastique Lauzon.
Sometimes, he is named Damass Neveu and sometimes, he is named Thomas Neveu.
Thomas moved to Michigan with with his family to year 1862.
