Leocadie Neveu was born in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, Quebec, Canada, the 17 june 1851.
She is the daughter of Maxime Neveu abd Scholastique Lauzon.
After living several years in Ste-Annes-des-Plaines and Ste-Sophie, all the family Neveu moved to Michigan, United States, around the year 1862.
Mary Leocadia Neveu Girard is also the sister of Edwidge Neveu Morel. If you read my blog, you will find that I am looking for information about Edwidge Neveu who married Zephir Morel. I made this blog specially to find the place where is died Edwidge Neveu Morel…between 1894 and 1901…Michigan ( United States) ???

Her husband, Joseph, is the son of Joseph Girard & Marie-Rose Gauthier. Joseph Girard (son) was born the 12 april 1834 to Coteau du Lac, St-Ignace, Quebec, Canada.
Throughout her life, Leocadie will use the name of Mary or Leocadia Girard.

This couple had several children. Here is the name of some: ELLEN, JOSEPHINE, MARY, JANE, MARGARET(MAGGIE), SOPHRONIA, JENNIE, ALFRED, JULIUS, EDWARD, ARTHUR, EDWIDGE.

DEATH OF MARY LEOCADIA NEVEU GIRARD

Mary Leocadia Neveu Girard died the 23 july 1940 to Bay City, Michigan.She is widow and she is aged of 89 years. Burial to Calvary Cemetery, Kawkawlin, Michigan, United States.Her husband, Joseph Girard, died the 28 february 1911 to Bay City, Michigan.
